Introducing the Cel-Lock™ system
Our business is to provide solutions for rail cars specializing in designing, supplying and servicing Cel-Lock™ fully automatic Twist lock systems.
Many of the Twist locks in the Cel-Lock™ range are used by rail operators in and outside of Australia.
Celtec fully automatic Twist lock systems are designed to accommodate the above-mentioned need for positive vertical load and easy locking and unlocking of all Twist locks, during the use of different length containers on the same rail car. The Celtec Twist lock system facilitates easy loading of cargo containers as the Celtec Twist locks automatically by lowering the container with the corner casting onto the lock.
The locks that are not necessary in a particular load configuration can be manually moved or as in the Cel-Lock™ TFAC-R, retracted automatically. The Cel-Lock™ TFAC-R system requires no manual handling.
Celtec Twist locks permits maximum flexibility in loading different length containers on the rail car by providing many seating positions in which the Twist lock can be engaged to the container.
The Celtec Twist locks will positively lock and hold down the container under normal transportation conditions and will therefore not disengage from the locked position unless the lifting force exceeds the designed load.

All Cel-Lock™ fully automatic Twist locks are fitted with a restriction pin which ensures that the wagon under frame is restricted from being dislodged from the bogie center bowl during the process of loading and un-loading.
The Cel-Lock™ fully automatic Twist locks are fitted with an emergency release pin which can be used to un-lock the shaft if jammed.
The Celtec fully automatic Twist lock systems are patented.
The Cel-Lock™ fully automatic retractable version is the only true and real fully automatic locking system for container rail wagons. Together with a Cel-Lock™ TFAD or Cel-Lock™ TFAC you will for the first time have a true and real automatic system on your rail car.
