在过去30多年的时间里,人们一直在寻求一种更好的解决方案,即如何将底部装配有国际标准箱角的集装箱锁定在卡车底盘车或铁路货车上。

许多年以来,人们不断地研制以及使用不同类型的能够将集装箱固定在货车上的锁定装置。根据其安全性能的不同主要有三种不同类型的扭锁。

(a) 定位锁/定位锥块

定位锁不能够纵向锁定运输载体上的集装箱。如果这种定位锁是用在铁路货车上的,那么使用者可以接受这种局限性,因为这种锁不需要人工来锁住和开启。但是现在人们正在重新审视这个局限性,因为已经有空的集装箱在纵向没有任何载荷的情况下在强侧风的作用下或经过高桥的时候从车上掉下来的例子。

(b) 完全锁定装置全自动扭锁

完全锁定装置可以纵向锁定铁路货车上的集装箱。当扭锁所承受的起吊力超过预先设定的数值时,这种锁将自动开启。我们称其为全自动扭锁。这种类型的锁正在日益普及,目前在全世界的许多地区都在使用。

(c) 完全手动锁定装置 – 手动扭锁

完全手动锁定装置将集装箱锁定在货车上,除非扭锁没有锁住或者扭锁出现断裂的情况。这种锁通常被设计成一个具有矩形头部且往上逐渐收拢变尖的杆状物。

集装箱装车后,手动将扭锁的锁头向右或向左转动90度来锁定集装箱,因此定名为扭锁。这种类型的扭锁包括三种基本设计:不可缩进式、可缩进式和拧紧式。它们也被广泛应用于公路运输中。这种类型的扭锁需要花费更多的时间来操作,因为需要人工逐个来操作。

在铁路货车上操作这种手动扭锁被证实是极其耗费人力的一件事。比如一辆安装了24个手动扭锁的货车,就需要耗费一段时间来将这些扭锁锁定在集装箱上,所以这被认为是手动锁的一个主要弊端即劳动效率低下。为满足这种市场需求,CELTEC可以提供一种花费较少操作时间的锁定装置。

装运不同长度的集装箱就需要不同的装载配置与之适应,这就要求货车上的集装箱锁闭装置有能力满足这一点。即扭锁必须是可缩进式的或可移开式的。因此在车辆的正确位置上采用合适数量的扭锁来满足特定的装载配置是势在必行的。

In 2014/2015, transport companies will need to pay the price on carbon. This cost is $23.00 per ton today but will increase to $25.00.

The Clean Energy legislation seeks to reduce Australia's greenhouse gas emissions by at least 5% by 2020 and 80% by 2050 compared with emissions in year 2000.

Heavy duty vehicles are the second largest contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and are estimated to be responsible for up to 15% of transport emissions.

In Australia there are approximately 350,000 rigid trucks and 74,000 articulated trucks registered that travel about 22,000 km respectively 90,000 km on an average per annum. All these trucks create congestion, pollution, wear & tear of our roads and accidents which all contributes to substantial social costs.

There would be massive savings both for the consumer and socially of the majority or partially of these trucks could be removed from the road.

To remove some or the majority of these trucks from our roads, large savings can be achieved by:

- Substantially lowering impact on the environment by the reduction of carbon emissions.

- Reduced transport costs resulting in lower consumer prices.

- Improved road safety by having less trucks on the roads.

The carbon dioxide saving would be 2.7kg for every 1 litre of Diesel.

Many of the Twist locks in the Cel-Lock™ range are used by rail operators in and outside of Australia.

Celtec fully automatic Twist lock systems are designed to accommodate the above-mentioned need for positive vertical load and easy locking and unlocking of all Twist locks, during the use of different length containers on the same rail car.
